From 1996-2001 the TV series "Nash Bridges" filmed all around San Fancisco. They even visited my neighborhood many times, as was the case on this day in 1999. Wrestler Steve Austin had a recurring role as Det. Jake Cage. Here, you see Austin standing by as Don Johnson paces and plays with a bottle and shields his eyes from the garish light of day. This location on Powell Street was used as Caitlin Cross's (Yasmine Bleeth) residence. I call it the Big Yellow Doors because it had - and still has - big yellow doors. The loud voices you may hear are probably tourists who happened upon the filming location.
